How Does Pain Affect The Body?

Pain is an unpleasant sensation caused by different stimulations of the sensory nerve endings. Acute Pain is intense, lasts less than six months, and is most often caused by damaged to tissues and organs. Chronic Pain usually lasts longer than six months and can be caused by a serious injury, disease, or an unknown cause. A person can have both acute and chronic pain at the same time.
