As evenings grow a bit cooler we are reminded that seasons will be changing soon, but we want to hold on to the ease of summer just a bit longer. Children are supposed to be going back to school in a few weeks, fall sports should be starting and summer send off parties are typically planned. However, this is not your typical change of seasons. We are still in a pandemic. It seems every state, every school and every county has different plans for fall. Those plans all have the asterisk, “subject to change”. What does ring true is that we need to keep living and embracing each day. We need to find a “normal for now” and look for the silver linings. Keep extra masks and hand sanitizer in your purse, your car and backpacks. Masks and more safety precautions are “normal for now”. Not attending or throwing large gatherings may be “normal for now”.
We don’t know how long it will last. Will we be past this in November? Who knows? We can’t stop the days from slipping by, but we can choose to keep living each day with flexibility, more precautions, masks and a positive mindset. If we focus on the small positives everyday, our lives are more settled and happier. On a case by case basis, we have to decide for ourselves what our comfort and safety level is. That’s a strange new reality.
Home care has never been more important than it is today. Ironically, precautions are not new to Affinity Home Care Agency. We have always focused on keeping you safe and healthy as our top priority. The additional personal protection equipment might be new, but the mindset isn’t. I guess that’s why we have embraced it so seamlessly. We are here everyday to help you and your family create healthier interactions to your daily lives. Affinity Home Care is dedicated to helping you create a healthier, happier and more content “normal for now”.
